Our Virtual Classroom and Webinars Help You Reap the Bounty

Harvest season is almost upon us – one of our favorite times of the year. Soon, farmers will be reaping the bounty that has grown thanks to their knowledge and hard work, and we’ll all enjoy apples, corn mazes, delicious pies and a score of other delicacies. (Pumpkin spice, anyone? Anyone?)

This got us thinking about growth in the senior living space, and what “reaping the bounty” looks like for communities such as yours. As you know, growth isn’t something that just happens. First, you have to plant the seeds for success, nurture them until they take root and then continually monitor them to make sure they don’t wither away from neglect, natural disasters or anything else that can strike before you have a chance to harvest.

“Growth is what propels us along the path to success, and helping you achieve growth is why we created GROW, SageAge’s innovative new sales training program,” says Jason McCloud, Executive Director of Integrated Marketing & Communications at SageAge Strategies. “Just like growing a successful crop, sustained business growth doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, hard work and understanding. It takes knowing each potential resident and family member as individuals, with unique stories, needs and expectations. Relying on one static conversation or a stale sales script to make an authentic connection with a potential resident is like farming your land with a horse and plow. Very old-school.”

Introducing Our Keep Growing Virtual Sales Classroom and Webinars

As you may remember from our previous blog on the subject, our at-your-site GROW training is an intensive, deep-dive into developing the theory of emotional intelligence as it applies to establishing the kind of connection, empathy, trust, mutual discovery and emotional leadership it takes to support a senior’s decision to move to your retirement community. It’s an intensive one- or two-day training to help you get those seeds into the ground so you can start nurturing their growth. Of course, you can’t just plant seeds and hope that they’ll grow on their own. You must regularly revisit and refresh your approach to ensure your sales team and your community are using the best sales tools possible to keep growing, day in and day out.

That’s why, in order to keep your sales team on track, SageAge has developed Keep Growing Webinars and the Keep Growing Virtual Sales Classroom.

Keep Growing Webinars are hour-long webinars that can be easily adapted to a company wide sales meeting or conference call. These webinars focus on specific topics with the purpose of enriching and developing skills around an identified challenge or obstacle. Topics range from Measuring Your Time to Increase Sales, When NOT to Ask for a Sale, How Deadlines Improve Your Relationship and so much more. They’re bite-sized, easily digestible tools to help boost your sales team’s confidence, deepen their knowledge and keep everyone on your staff engaged and excited about the GROW phenomenon.

And because one or two days is only the start to forming great sales habits, we created the Keep Growing Virtual Sales Classroom, developed to continue and grow the excitement, drive, and discipline gained from your initial on-site GROW training.

“Our Virtual Sales Classroom helps sustain a growth mindset in sales professionals that continues after the initial excitement fades and first-level goals are met,” says Jason. “A true commitment to growth means that once one goal is met, another is set. This is the way great organizations continue to grow occupancy, revenue, and mission. This is how you Keep Growing.”

The SageAge Keep Growing Virtual Sales Classroom is designed to be a low cost, low time investment (It’s just a 30-minutes-a-week commitment) so that your team can keep selling while they’re learning. We utilize a GoToTraining platform that allows participants to actively engage and participate in each Keep Growing class. Attendees can see the facilitator, take quizzes, raise their hands, actively work on sales tools, and role play – all from their own location. Peer professionals learn to share best practices and strategies to more deeply engage prospective residents and their families, to grow the relationships that matter.
