We welcome the newest member of our outstanding media team

In response to the increasing needs of our client-partners for expanded media planning, negotiating, scheduling and placement services, our Media Department is growing again. SageAge Strategies is pleased to welcome John Vitale as Media Specialist in our Public Relations & Media department.

John’s primary responsibilities include media research and planning, client-partner media support, distribution of public relations materials, preparing new projects, developing PowerPoint presentations and formatting documents for media distribution. In his role, John will work closely with senior living communities to assure that they receive the greatest return on their media expenditures in our increasingly competitive and budget-sensitive environment.

In addition to working with traditional media, John is involved with the latest digital media techniques that enable communities to refine their focus on high-quality prospects with great precision. Our extensive experience has shown that the most efficient strategies do not always use conventional broad-brush approaches. Rather, with the myriad media choices available today, niche sites with loyal followings are often the most effective in engaging your prospective customers while minimizing your media costs.

John joins SageAge with substantial relevant experience in media and public relations. He possesses impressive skills in copyediting, creative writing, graphic design and social media, which he has refined during his education and prior employment.

Previously in his career, John was employed by Clear Channel Radio where he wrote and produced newscasts, which aired on each of the four-station cluster’s channels. Being very tech savvy, he was also involved in increasing web traffic by researching and preparing on-air content for the stations, websites and social media platforms.

Later, John worked as a reporter for Williamsport Sun-Gazette, a daily newspaper in central Pennsylvania. Most recently, he served as a customer service representative for a national manufacturer where he also conducted customer service training for new employees.

A summa cum laude graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania,John majored inCommunication Media with a dual focus in print and broadcast journalism.While there, he served as news and sports editor of the university’s student newspaper, The Eagle Eye, and received the Rebecca Gross Scholarship, an award bestowed upon the graduating senior majoring in communication who demonstrated paramount commitment to the field of journalism.

Regarding his new role in the senior living space, John says, “We wouldn’t be who we are if not for our parents’ and grandparents’ influence on our lives. I’m really excited to be in a position where I can hopefully return the favor, maybe on an even greater scale. I’m definitely looking forward to working with our client-partners to provide the best service for their health and lifestyle needs.”
