Sarah Naylor, Project Manager
In her role as Project Manager, Sarah works closely with our Senior Consultants to provide essential support to SageAge client-partners in several key areas focused on their growth and expansion. She is highly skilled in several areas that are central to today’s marketing and sales success, such as digital marketing, branding, social media, web design, direct mail, customer service, strategic planning, data analysis, campaign management and client relationships.
Sarah joined the SageAge Strategies team with highly relevant functional experience and an exceptional record of accomplishment. Previously in her career, she held management positions in which she had a direct influence on organizational growth and success. Her many accomplishments included consistently increasing sales, customer traffic, customer service scores and subscription membership KPIs; managing the creation and implementation of both traditional and digital marketing collateral; and creating effective email marketing campaigns for multiple clients worldwide.
She also brings significant value to our client-partners in this digital age with a variety of technical skills that include the use and application of HTML, Zoho CRM, Google Analytics & DoubleClick, Facebook Ads Manager, Photoshop, ExactTarget & AMPscript, Microsoft SQL Server, CSS, Litmus, Dreamweaver and Visual Studio.
Sarah also has a very strong educational background, graduating cum laude from Ithaca College in New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.
Shannon Browne, Web Developer
As Web Developer for SageAge Strategies, Shannon is responsible for the front-end development of our clients’ websites. In this role, she works closely with our creative design team, copywriters, digital marketing and social media experts to create award-winning websites that inspire, inform and motivate action to achieve our client-partners’ growth goals.
Shannon’s function is extremely important in enabling our client-partners to enjoy optimal design, functionality, user experience and search optimization in an increasingly digital senior living marketing environment.
Shannon brings to SageAge an excellent skill set and pertinent experience in the continuously evolving world of e-commerce and web technology. She has a strong background in a variety of web technologies including HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, PHP, WordPress, Drupal, as well as general technology experience ranging from database management to networking to hardware repair.
In addition to her technical expertise, Shannon also has experience on the creative side with graphic design and Photoshop – an important advantage in visualizing the effective use of space, color, imagery and text in her web development and design role. Prior to joining SageAge, she was the Chief Web Designer for an e-commerce retail site (a women’s sporting goods store) near Philadelphia. Before that, she worked for a publishing company as its Web Developer and IT Director.
Shannon graduated cum laude from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to earn her MS in Internet Systems from the University of Liverpool in England. There, she wrote her dissertation on search engine algorithms and optimization strategy.
Michael Schwartz, Network Administrator
As our IT Network Administrator, Mike supports the SageAge team and our clients in several important ways, including troubleshooting network problems and resolving issues with software, hardware and e-mail. He also assists with any projects that can benefit from his broad technical skill set.
Mike began building his knowledge base in the digital sciences in his early teenage years. As he says, “I have been fascinated with technology for as long as I can remember. I built my first computer from a kit when I was 15 years old.”
Mike began his career in the computer world in the early 1980s when he managed the digital imaging department of a photo lab in Danbury, CT. A decade later, he worked for Quebecor World Premedia as a Systems Manager and Field Support Technician. In that position, and in his subsequent job as Technical Support Manager at RR Donnelley Corporation, Mike had several key roles and responsibilities including: installation and maintenance of digital imaging workstations; network and server administration; digital asset management; development and implementation of digital imaging workflows; software and hardware support for facility management within companies such as the New York Times, Sony Corporation, Ziff Davis Publishing and Reader’s Digest.
Having worked in the digital premedia industry for over 15 years, Mike became highly proficient with multiple operating systems including Linux, Unix, Mac OS and Windows. He is also well versed in digital imaging and publishing applications such as QuarkXPress, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, which are highly important for effective digital marketing efforts today.
Mike has also done technology consulting and says he enjoyed helping people have “a more pleasant relationship” with their computers, tablets, smartphones and other electronic devices. He is a firm believer in continuous learning and says, “My thirst for knowledge drives me to keep up to date with the latest technology.”
Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY with a double-major in French and Geology.
Bridget Bellmore Carmeci, Copywriter
Bridget is responsible for creating compelling copy for a wide variety of client projects including brochures, advertising, websites, flyers, press releases and newsletters. She assists our Quality Assurance Department with proofreading as well.
Despite being one of the youngest members of SageAge’s professional staff, Bridget possesses a true gift for creating well-written works that inform, inspire and motivate prospects, families and referral sources to take action. She is an exceptional resource for assisting our client-partners in translating their marketing goals and objectives into effective, solution-based messages that generate results.
Bridget joined SageAge with an exceptional record of academic achievement and relevant expertise as a writer and editor. While obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing with a minor in Business Administration at Lycoming College, she received numerous departmental academic honors, awards and scholarships. As managing editor of Tributary, the Lycoming College literary magazine, Bridget was recognized for her excellence in journalism and creative writing. She also served as photography editor of Schemata, the college’s online journal.
Bridget graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA and also found time to pursue her other interests, which included tutoring other students in writing skills and participating in the choir, dance club and United Campus Ministry.
Rhianna Speck, Design Specialist
As Design Specialist in our Creative Department, Rhianna’s responsibilities focus on creating beautiful, attention-grabbing collateral materials and marketing pieces that artfully combine the elements of relevant imagery, optimal visual appeal, precise spacing and clean presentation to reflect the excellence of our clients and their communities. She also excels in the design and development of websites utilizing HTML/CSS, Dreamweaver and variety of online website builder editors such as Squarespace and WordPress.
Rhianna thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly flexible. She possesses an innate ability to multitask, working on several projects at a time with ease. She is always responsive to our clients’ objectives and has a strong grasp of her role in contributing vibrant, compelling visual designs that achieve breakthrough levels of interest and attention among senior living consumers.
With more than 10 years’ experience in developing and producing effective creative design solutions for clients, she has served as a key member of account management teams in effectively planning and deploying successful marketing campaigns. Skilled in the use of the latest design tools and technologies, Rhianna is proficient in Macintosh and PC platforms, and Adobe Creative Suite 6: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Acrobat X Pro.
Rhianna graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology, an affiliate of Pennsylvania State University, with an Associate of Applied Arts/Advertising Art degree. She continued her professional education by attaining a Continuing Workforce Development Certification in Project Management.
Kyle Essick, MA, Quality Assurance Specialist
As a key member of our Quality Assurance (QA) Department, Kyle is responsible for guaranteeing the grammatical and factual accuracy of all written materials we produce for our clients to maintain the highest standards of excellence, professionalism and effectiveness.
At SageAge, we take quality and continuous performance improvement very seriously. Not only is it a reflection of our own commitment to professional exceptionalism, it is also how our client-partners expect and deserve to be represented.
In his position, Kyle assures that the written copy on all projects is clear, correct, consistent and appropriate in its use and tone. This entails reviewing all communications for spelling, grammatical and contextual errors, as well as applying each individual client’s specified proofing requirements to ensure that distinct items such as logos, phone numbers and addresses are present and correct. With his outstanding communications skills, Kyle also provides copywriting and public relations support.
Kyle joined SageAge Strategies extremely well prepared for his Quality Assurance responsibilities. He graduated cum laude from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English Writing and went on to earn his MA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Teaching English. While there, he was initiated into of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
