Introducing Another Dynamic Member of Our Award-Winning Team!

Nov 5, 2014 | Updates about SageAge

We Welcome Victoria Hummel, Quality Assurance Specialist

As we continue to experience unprecedented levels of growth in our number of client-partners, SageAge Strategies has continued to add talented new team members in order to maintain our highest standards of quality and service. The latest addition to our award-winning, professional staff is Victoria “Tori” Hummel, Quality Assurance Specialist.

In her new position, Tori is responsible for assuring the quality, accuracy and correctness of all projects we produce for our client-partners. As reflected in her position, SageAge is committed to consistently delivering projects of the highest standard of excellence, professionalism and effectiveness to clients.

Assuring Perfect Communications Products – Every Time!

Specifically, Tori will be responsible for ensuring that the written copy for all projects is clear, effective and correct. In doing so, she will review all communications for grammatical, spelling and contextual errors, as well as check them against each client’s specified proofing requirements to ensure all pertinent items such as logos, phone numbers and addresses are present and correct.

With her outstanding communications skill set and relevant career experience, Tori will also be supporting other areas of SageAge with copywriting, public relations support and administrative tasks.

Ideally Prepared to Serve our Client-Partners

Tori has come to SageAge Strategies extremely well prepared for her responsibilities. For the past two and a half years, she was the Associate Editor & Paginator of a central Pennsylvania newspaper, which publishes and delivers daily in both print and online editions. In this capacity, Tori was responsible for several key functions, including: layout and page design of the newspaper; proofing and editing of all copy in AP Style; researching AP Exchange and multiple media websites for noteworthy content to publish; using Photoshop to improve photo presentation; writing and serving as a “beat reporter” for community events.

Tori was also heavily involved with the online edition of the newspaper and was responsible for uploading daily content, as well as actively monitoring and managing its “Virtual Newsroom” to assess, categorize and edit user submissions and news stories for its regional readership.

A graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, Tori received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in writing. A highly dedicated individual, she was awarded Dean’s List Honors while also finding time to serve in the University’s Financial Aid office, hold down two other jobs and volunteer as co-editor of the Student Support Services Newsletter.

Please join us in welcoming Tori Hummel to our exceptional and rapidly expanding SageAge Team!
