Newest SageAge team members further strengthen our advanced online technology and public relations expertise

As we continue our unprecedented growth at SageAge Strategies, we are pleased to announce the addition of more talented professionals who extend our capabilities and further enhance our capacity to provide our client-partners with award-winning services that – most importantly – achieve results.

We are proud to announce that Caleb Hess, PHP Programmer and Taigen Thorne, Public Relations & Media Assistant, have joined our outstanding team. Their additions ideally position us to serve the needs of our growing number of client-partners in senior living and senior care. Caleb bolsters our industry-leading online marketing technology that is spearheading brand optimization and cost-effective growth innovations such as “Remarketing,” while Taigen provides additional public relations, media management and social media expertise for our clients.

Caleb comes to SageAge with a wealth of programming experience and acumen. Most recently, he worked for a medical recall and scheduling firm where he created the infrastructure for complex compliance analytics, client portals and billing interfaces, as well as enhancing the functionality of various websites.

Caleb is a key contributor to SageAge’s position as a leader in online marketing, social media engagement, SEO, consumer interest coding and brand enhancement for our client-partners. A highly talented programmer, Caleb is an essential part of our advanced online technology area that has been honored with the Web Health Award, which recognizes the nation’s best digital health resources in the industry. 

In his website programming capacity, Caleb’s wide-ranging responsibilities include developing customized web themes and programming for all websites being provided to SageAge clients. His role also entails mobile-web application programming; SEO; Pay Per Click (PPC) sponsored link campaigns; monitoring and analyzing Google Analytics data reports; and assisting with website designs to ensure that the most current SEO algorithm methodologies are being applied. Caleb is also directly involved with troubleshooting website issues if they arise on any client websites, as well as tending to other website programming needs and implementing technological enhancements.

Caleb attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, as well as Strayer University, and is doing additional course work at Drexel University in Philadelphia to further advance his expertise in online technology. When he’s not creating highly effective online systems, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife and three young boys, playing acoustic guitar, hunting and camping.

Taigen joins us after spending a total of six years working and studying in New York City. While there, she developed her excellent public relations skills at Small Girls PR and received her degree in Marketing and Advertising from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. With major clients such as GE, Absolut and Pinkberry, Taigen was immersed in the demanding, highly competitive world of New York public relations and media communications. In addition to her public relations role, she was also able to advance her social marketing skills by running the social media campaigns for a popular online fashion magazine, Deux Hommes, as well as developing and running her own blog.

In her role as Public Relations and Media Assistant at SageAge, Taigen has several key responsibilities that support the PR and media needs of our client-partners and ensure the delivery of high quality, cost-effective and timely communication services. An excellent writer, Taigen provides client media support, tracks and coordinates the status of client projects, prepares presentations, participates in account management activities and supports our senior Account Managers in their day-to-day work with clients. She prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail and always putting clients’ interests first.

Taigen says that growing up with a senior-aged father has given her a unique perspective and deeper passion for SageAge clients and the people they serve. With a 56-year age difference, Taigen assists her father and clearly understands the value and benefits of the senior health services she represents for SageAge. A compassionate and highly committed individual, Taigen spent much of her time in New York City volunteering for Hurricane Sandy relief in the Rockaways. She also participated in other humanitarian projects with her church.

When she isn’t exercising her passion for marketing and public relations, Taigen enjoys trail running, playing tennis, playing guitar and kayaking. She dreams of some day owning her own home at the beach.
