Introducing Elizabeth Kindt
Just as our list of senior living client-partners continues to grow at SageAge Strategies, so too does our roster of outstanding professionals. We are very pleased to announce that our latest addition, Elizabeth “Beth” Kindt has joined us as Senior Living Communications Specialist.
An exceptional writer with an outstanding journalistic pedigree and a history of accomplishment as both a writer and editor, Beth brings 15 years of experience in writing, editing and proofreading marketing and advertising materials. This includes 13 years as a book and magazine editor and writer with administrative responsibilities. Beth and her sister recently returned home to Pennsylvania to help their family care for their 96-year-old grandmother – a situation with which all of us are very familiar.
Beth’s exciting professional career has taken her around the country and around the world. Most recently, she was FreelanceU.S. Editor for a publishing company in Madrid, Spain,where she was responsible for editing children’s books from Spanish to American English and applying appropriate terminology and sentence structures to appeal to American children.
Prior to relocating to Spain, Beth was Freelance Editor and Copywriter for a large marketing agencyinnorthern New Jersey. While there, she wrote and edited content for clients’ newsletters, websites, print advertisements, press releases and media kits. She also wrote and edited content for the firm’s own in-house online newsletter and corporate website.
Between 1997 and 2011,Beth lived and worked in New York City. Ten of those yearswere devoted toan international media companyspecializing in luxury products,where she held the position of Editor for two of its publications. During her highly successful decade-long career there, she was credited with “significantly improving the editorial quality and brand credibility” of Watches International, which boosted advertising revenue by 500% between publishing years 2002 and 2008 and doubled the size of the magazine. She was also responsible for shaping the initial development of Grand Complications in 2005.
While Beth is extremely precise and focused in her craft, she displays a true spirit of adventure when not busy providing superior written materials for her SageAge clients. She loves traveling and experiencing new cultures, new people and new sights. Her love of learning is unquenchable. For Beth, every day is a new opportunity to discover, to experience and to learn.
She lists her favorite travel destinations as Europe and the Caribbean, and she also loves exploring America. As she says, “It doesn’t matter whether it’s Phoenix, France or Fargo, I always have fun when I travel and I always learn something new.”
Beth also possesses a very engaging, self-effacing sense of humor. She jokes that she had a “very brief but exciting” modeling career in New York City that lasted “all of four hours!” The fashion world’s loss was our gain as Beth now brings her communications expertise to SageAge.
